“Aeneas” is a unit in which care and welfare services are provided. The organization  operates based on the principles of welfare and solidarity and with a view to outpatient care and social inclusion of the elderly.

It aims to offer medical, psychiatric-psychological and “family” care to people in need of support, as well as to offer information on community and citizen voluntary assistance, and to promote these principles.

“Aeneas” with a direct reference to its historical model, seeks to give the opportunity of new life to the elderly, providing the possibility of a dignified life based on the rights of every human being from the beginning of his course in the thread of life to the end.

The structure is therefore called upon to carry on its “backs”, like the epic hero [1], the continuation of the lives of the elderly, who are often marginalized, isolated and eventually abandoned as unproductive citizens, due to the indifference of society as a whole to the rights of these people to a life full of opportunity and meaning until the end.
